Being able to meet and form friendships with doctors from Germany, Thailand, Japan and even the Maldives has been one of the unexpected perks of being a Vascular Surgeon. My proctorship engagements have opened my eyes to the vast amount of talent in South-East Asia and has left me excited for better and better patient outcomes in our region.
